Kojic acid has been shown to be effective at inhibiting melanin production in the skin, so it diminishes the appearance of brown spots and promotes a clear, fresh-looking complexion. Like any skin-lightening agent, this product should be used overnight on dark spots only. Also, we strongly recommend daily use of sunscreen with a minimum SPF of 30. 2 oz.
